I knew I wanted to make a home for raccoons because they are prevalent in the San Diego community and they are routinely looking for a home to call their own. Raccoons are also very easy to please, they can transform almost anything into a home and are not easily scared away. My goal was to create a home that would be more desirable to their natural instincts and give the human population something interesting to look at and want to keep around.
